Optimum development of cohesion forces
- Cohesion forces are adhesive-specific.
- Cohesion forces can, for example, be influenced by the adhesive application, curing temperature and curing time (see the technical data sheet).
- Important: There is an optimum adhesive film thickness (usually 0.2 mm) at which the cohesion reaches its maximum value (for various reasons, however, the actual adhesive film thickness may differ from this; thicker adhesive layer (e.g. elastic bonding), thinner adhesive film (e.g. pressure sensitive adhesives)).
